The world needs American power.

In my latest column for Business in Calgary, I look at America’s role in a world where geopolitical power is shifting and old assumptions about security can no longer be taken for granted.

The piece considers American global influence, the importance of democratic alliances, Canada’s defence commitments and what a decline in U.S. power could mean for its allies.
